Sagebrush and the Rain

I love the smell of rain. I love the smell of sagebrush. There is almost nothing better to my senses than the smell of sagebrush after the rain -- it smells so fresh and clean. It rained a lot of the day yesterday and last night. We sleep with open windows in our house and as most of you know, our house is surrounded by sagebrush. I woke up to cool, fresh air and the sweet smell of rain-washed sagebrush this morning. Mmmm. What a beautiful way to start the morning. Happy Monday everyone!
