Ahri is such a blessing and delight in our family. She is completely adored by each and every one of us. I have been so impressed with the love and concern Ellie and Ronan have shown toward Ahri, and it is so fun to see how much she already loves her big sister and brother! It's amazing! Ahri LOVES when Ellie holds her; she usually just gazes up at her big sister and smiles, and gets very relaxed. Ronan is so VERY protective of his baby, and constantly talks about how little she is and how much he loves her little toes, her little ears, etc. He absolutely cannot give his baby enough loves. Ellie and Ronan also love to brush Ahri's hair (who wouldn't?!!). It is so sweet; you can tell that Ahri truly enjoys it as well. I am so enjoying watching the bond between Ahri and her older siblings grow daily. What a gift we have been given!

Ahri has such a sweet disposition -- she really doesn't cry (except when she got pricked for the first time ever today, for her PKU :( ...). She is so very sweet and calm and alert. She loves to look around and smile when you talk to her. She is SO strong! She lifts her head and turns it constantly, she does little situps while laying down awake, and she can roll almost completely over! Kinda crazy... She sleeps really well, and eats like a champ!
Best of all, I feel like my perspective is much different this third (whoa!) time around. I am blessed to have learned just how quickly newborn turns into a toddler. It happens faster than I like, and knowing/understanding this from experience is helping me enjoy every minute with Ahri -- even those in middle off the night!
