Ellie started preschool on Tuesday. The first day was just a half-day, and a parent was supposed to be there the entire time, so Donovan decided he would go with her. She was pretty excited!
10/12/10 -- Ahri chuckled when playing "I'm gonna get you!"/tickling game!!
10/09/10 -- Me: "You're crazy!"
Ellie: "Of course I am. Do you know why? I was made to save people, so I have to be crazy!"
9/17/10 -- "Sorry, he's my brother. He's trouble." (Ellie talking about Ronan)
-- "Do you know when you smile, it's called 'smiling'? You just smiled!" (Ellie talking to Ahri)
8/12/10 -- "I'm not a fan of sleep. I usually just go to sleep when I fall asleep, that way I don't even know I'm sleeping!" (Ellie)
8/02/10 -- "I'm starving for Ahri because she's so yummy." (Ronan)
6/06/10 -- When I walked into the bedroom to check on Ronan falling asleep, he said to me, "Mommy, you're so pretty."
3/27/10 -- While driving together Ellie said, "Dad, you are the superhero of my life."
7/06/09 -- RONAN said, "that my mama."
7/06/09 -- "Mom, I have a kiss waiting for you in my heart."
7/02/09 -- "Toots are soft, huh."
5/30/09 -- "Can we go up the canyon, where the water lives?"
5/20/09 -- Ellie sneezed without covering mouth (right over her water glass) and exclaimed, "That sneeze added more water to my cup!"
5/12/09 -- Ellie spilled water on her new princess nightgown and was worried. Her daddy told her not to worry. She asked, "will it dry fast?" Daddy: "Yes." Ellie: "Is it polyester?!" Daddy: "Yes." Ellie: "Yay."
4/28/09 -- Ellie's reaction to our Thai green curry last night: "Mmm, delish! Thank you Mommy for making dinner this way!"
4/08/09 -- While struggling to get her shirt on, Ellie said, "my arms are saying, 'I'll never find my way home!'"
10/05/08 -- On the way home from running errands and getting dangerously close to naptime, Ellie said, "my eyes are pooped!"

it is so special that Donovan was able to go with Ellie on her first day. I bet it is something she will always remember. LOVE her polka dots!
