SANTA!!

So we finally made it to see good ol' St. Nick last night. Poor little Ellie has been wanting to see him for days now. We first were going to go see Santa at the Gateway on Saturday night when we were there, but Ellie and Ronan took such long naps that we missed him (thankfully we didn't tell Ellie about our plan). We decided to go see him on Sunday because he was supposed to be at Fashion Place from noon to six. We arrived (at one) to a huge line with a sign at the very end of the line saying the line was closed! WHAT?! I guess Santa was already ready for an hour break. We went and took care of some other stuff and came back, but Ellie decided she just wanted to go home instead of waiting in line forever. So last night was the night! We were determined to accomplish our mission. We got there -- the line wasn't too long, but Santa was out feeding his reindeer yet again. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long and there were some really nice boys in line behind us that were entertaining Ellie. FINALLY it was our turn (after being at the front of the line for probably 15 minutes while they kept letting people with dogs go in front of everyone who had been waiting and waiting and waiting!!).

Sweet little Ellie sat on Santa's lap and gave him her prized little toy frog (leaving me to wonder, just how many presents does Santa receive?) The good man asked Ellie what she wanted him to bring her for Christmas and she so aptly replied "a present." Ronan even sat on his lap for a little minute to our surprise!

Alas, we're going to have to go back yet again because we forgot our camera. Maybe next time we'll have better luck?
