My Happy Boy

I am constantly amazed and delighted by Ronan's ability and drive to just be happy. It seems to be his mission in life: enjoy it and have fun! Even when he's tired or not feeling well he is so quick to laugh, giggle and play. His favorite is laughing at himself when he's contemplating mischief -- which I find somehow charming... You know how most babies have different cries (Ronan does have this too)? Ronan has different laughs/giggles. It is so cute and makes me so happy. He gets a really deep chuckle when he's getting into mischief; he has a really high-pitched squeal (we call either his "war cry" or "shriek of the nazgul") when he wants to wrestle and rough-house; when he's feeling affectionate he gets a really soft tone to his laughter and when he thinks he's being tricky or funny he has real belly laugh. So sweet. I love my little happy boy. He brings so much joy to our home.
