Ellie has become an expert skipper and galloper. She is SO good at it and she prances around the house all the time, especially when she's excited. She also LOVES "finning round", and will spin until she's dizzy and falls. Quite entertaining. Yesterday Ellie was counting stars and counted to 18, which I had never heard her do before. The other thing Ellie has been doing a lot lately is singing. I love it! She just walks around the house singing, or sings while she plays or while she looks out the window. When we are in the car and Ronan gets upset, she will start singing and look at Ronan and say, "did that help buddy?" It usually does too! She has quite the repertoire of songs. Ellie is so very sweet with Ronan and he just lights up when he sees her or hears her voice. Even though Ellie is in the midst of her terrible twos -- I mean REALLY in the midst -- she really is very sweet, thoughtful and obedient most of the time. During those "other" times I do find myself wanting to bang my head against the wall, but thankfully those snippets of time are relatively limited!
Ronan is growing so fast! He really is going to catch up to Ellie -- probably sooner than later. He is on the
verge of rolling over both ways. I know he is strong enough to do it, he just hasn't figured out how yet. He can sit up from a reclined position, he is VERY strong. He is a talker, for sure! He loves to talk and is so expressive while he does. When he talks to Donovan he has an entirely different manner about him, it is really interesting to watch and listen to. He does this sort of cough/clearing throat thing when he talks to Donovan, and he gets very serious. It's pretty funny. I think he thinks he is imitating something that Donovan does -- it's his "man to man" manner of speaking. We're still waiting for him to laugh! I am convinced he does already -- it's just silent! He does this thing when he gets super excited or when you tickle him (he is VERY ticklish, just like his daddy) -- he smiles HUGE with his mouth wide open -- and I think that's his laugh. We'll see I guess. He does chuckle a lot though and that's cute. Ronan LOVES to play pat-a-cake and he gets a kick out of it

I love those dimples! Ethan does remember Ellie. He lights up when I mention our trip to visit. We were signing "friend" and I mentioned Ellie. He smiled big. It will be very fun to have them close together.
