Ellie the Artist

Ellie has been really into painting recently. She loves to paint, and she is very good at it! I set her up with all of her supplies and she just goes at it. She determines which paints she uses, how she applies them and when she is finished with a painting. She is very creative as far as finding different ways to apply the paint to achieve different textures. Sometimes she names her paintings, and other times she doesn't. I love watching her paint -- she is so deliberate, it's pretty amazing for a not-quite-two-year-old. (Of course I realize some might think I'm a little biased...) She has a pretty large portfolio already!! Here is a little sample.
